Meet our beautiful bride Marie, who celebrated her wedding in July in Hotel Doolin in Clare. Marie’s dress was not what she originally thought she would go for but we think she absolutely rocked this two-piece outfit and pearyl veil.
We asked Marie some questions about her wedding style, how she knew her dress was the one for her and if she has any advice for other brides-to-be.
Marie, our Tyler dress from Prea James was just perfect on you! Was it the style you had in mind for yourself? How did you know it was the dress for you?
I was completely surprised by my choice , I thought I wanted something colourful , I would never have known I could have pulled off something so sophisticated. When I put my veil on I knew it was the one!
Who did you bring to your bridal appointment? Did they help you decide on your dress?
First visit: My mam Margaret and sister-in-law Elaine. Second visit: My bridesmaids , Aoife and Kate. They were all instrumental in helping me make my decisions
What would you say was your overall wedding style?
Fun and colourful!!

Any underwear tips for our brides to be?
Wear what feels comfortable, I had cups sewn into my top.
Any special moments you treasure from the day?
Having the time with Rachel and the doggos at our first look before we ever walked up the aisle. That and walking up the aisle with dad surrounded by a room full of people you love.
If you could give brides-to-be one piece of solid advice?
Have a first look, take as many photos as you can with your other half pre ceremony and have you me photos with guest on site. Once we arrived at our venue we never left our guests and it was the best decision we made.

How did you find your experience at The White and Gold?
The ladies at W&G were fab and it was a wonderful excuse to visit Kinsale. It was Sorcha who found my dress for me, I didn’t even pick it off the rail to try. I also loved the pop up stores in Dublin where I bought my bag and shoes .
